Indore, Madhya Pradesh's Chief Minister Mohan Yadav officially opened a brand new 128-slice CT scan machine at the Super Specialty Hospital of MGM Medical College. Additionally, he inaugurated a newly constructed (G+2) block at the Government Dental College, which was built at a cost of approximately Rs 6 crore. The modern equipment was donated by the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, aimed at enhancing the hospital's diagnostic capabilities. The inauguration ceremony included a ribbon-cutting by Yadav in the CT scan room, followed by a briefing on the machine's functions. The new building, constructed by the Public Works Department, was designed to address space deficiencies identified by the Dental Council of India during inspections. Furthermore, the state government is introducing an OPG machine and 75 dental chair units at the dental college through the Madhya Pradesh Public Health Corporation, benefiting both undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as outpatients. Yadav emphasized the government's commitment to improving healthcare services in the state, stating that the advanced CT scan machine will facilitate early disease detection and precise diagnoses. He also mentioned that the new dental college building will provide students with access to top-notch facilities. During his visit to Indore, Yadav toured the soon-to-be-operational MR-10 ISBT and announced plans for India's largest inter-state bus terminal in Indore, resembling an airport and serving as a significant addition to the state's infrastructure.In preparation for the upcoming Simhastha religious gathering, a new 15-acre facility has been constructed at a cost of Rs 101 crore by IDA. This terminal is expected to greatly improve the travel experience for passengers, with the capacity to handle up to 80,000 passengers daily and accommodate 1,440 buses round the clock. The ISBT will offer 14 ticket counters, a 1,000-vehicle parking facility, 43 bus platforms, a VIP lounge, a food court, and other amenities. Additionally, the CM inaugurated a library at Holkar Science College and assured employees at the Sanchi Dairy Plant that there would be no layoffs. The MP government aims to strengthen the state's dairy sector and support dairy cooperatives. The CM also unveiled a statue of martyr Amrita Devi Bishnoi at the city forest to honor her community's commitment to environmental protection. Finally, during his visit to Indore, the CM sought blessings from Praman Sagar Maharaj and learned about the 'Health of Indore Campaign', which has conducted blood tests for approximately 50,000 people.
